Autumn Term
During Autumn Term our main focus is World War 2. We will focus on the local area as well as on key events throughout the war such as Dunkirk, The Battle of Britain and D-Day.
Some of our writing will be based on our class book for the term which is 'Letters from the Lighthouse' by Emma Carroll. We will also look at videos as sources of inspiration to construct narratives, as well as writing informative texts and postcards.
Our Science topic is Light. We will investigate what it is, how it travels and the ways in which it interacts with objects.
Within Maths we will look at Place Value and our knowledge of the four operations.
