Leave of Absence during Term Time
New Government Guidelines as of 1st September 2018
Any Leave of Absence requests which are not classed as exceptional circumstances, or do not meet the current Local National Average Percentage of 95.3% will be considered for a Local Authority Fixed Penalty Notice. This will happen regardless of whether a School Leave of Absence Form as been completed or not.
Currently Fixed Penalty Notices stand at £60 per parent per child, if paid within 21 days, rising to £120 per parent per child if paid within 28 days.
